Reality
A world filled with people without a name
Hidden under masks to hide our mistakes,
Expressionlessly, we all act the same
Because feelings will only leave heartache.
A world where you never know who to trust,
And no one admits what they truly feel,
We think we know love, but it's only lust.
Deceiving each other, who knows what's real?
When we feel sadness, why don't we just cry?
And why don't we just jump when we feel joy?
With a straight face, we continue to lie.
Can't we see it is ourselves we destroy?
If only we could learn sincerity,
We could make true love a reality.
