Worms don't fly
Why I cannot fly
I dig deep in the ground feeling the dirt
worms dont have wishes
when they wiggle, their wings spin in the dirt
I dig deep in the ground feeling the dirt
I have no eyes but that doesn't mean I don't get visions
when they wiggle their wings spin in the dirt
crawling deeper into the dark crevasse to feel my head shiver and my tail shake.
I have no eyes, but that doesn't mean I din't get visions
Feeling the hollow eyes and my heart is brown with dirt
Crawling deeper into the dark crevasse to feel my head shiver and my tail shake
my friends are gone oh buried deep so here I slither, slither and creep.
Feeling the hallow eyes and my heart is brown with dirt
worms dont have wishes
my friends are gone oh buried deep so here I slither, slither creep
This is why I cannot fly.

This is a Pantoum poem, so some of the lines repeat.
