Little Ghost
I awaken from a restless sleep to find your arms are no longer around me
Everywhere the room is green with envy
Did she take you from me?
The blankets twisted around me, choking me, making it hard for my broken heart to beat
Everything is darkness, pure and deep without a single light
And then I hear a voice, straining to sing words of encouragement but she only sings of the end
From the little radio, dusty and old
Comes a sound of screams and scary stories told
Not softly at all, but she sings and I wanna close my eyes and wake up again
I am not alone, sitting right beside me, the ghost of the girl I used to know
