She cares a lot about me
Although I don't know why
And whenever I hear her kind words
I feel an urge to try

The mountains seem less jagged
Their summits not so tall
I climb rather confidently
Careful not to fall

But missteps are not uncommon
Of that I'm quite aware
Sometimes I face a tumble
For life is not so fair

When hope is nonexistent
The pain too much to bide
I turn around to discover
That she is right there by my side

So I try again.
