Long Distance
Long time travelled by road
with twenty miles left
going one-o’-one feeling
a hundred too slow.
This road is twenty too
long to reach your embrace,
but never too far from
your masterpiece face.
It’s been too long and hard
for us to be parted.
Five hours away from promise
and fated amongst death,
but we produced success.
Two months later, I’m here,
walking forth to your door.
My love, we celebrate
our anniversary.
Here’s your present from me.
Knock! Knock! Hey, I love you.
*Gasp, lunge sob* I love you too…

I've only ever had long distance relationships. Although that truth is not such a bad thing, it is still a fact.
