Truth
I walked within the chasms of my soul.
Conciousness itself was mapped on my heart.
The bricks of life formed mazes in my mind.
I dared to walk the path;
Through the maze within.
A breeze loosed some bricks upon me.
They tried to bring me down.
Each turn unleashed a terror,
Like some long forgotten sin.
Each dead end became a battlefield;
Raising dirt like the swirls of the wind.
Danger engulfed me.
Fear overcame me.
Misery was my mate.
But I was lured forward;
Truth calling my name.
