Better Days
Anger, sadness and hate
We’re full of one or the other
Gossip, lies and cheats
It rests on us like a cover
For no can ever be perfect
Of course with the exception of one
But we cannot be like that man
For he was God’s only son
But do not be discouraged
Everyone has their flaws
Hateful, arrogant or nasty
Lying, breaking laws
But we can strive to be better
Improve our awful ways
Work on your inner self
And maybe we’ll see better days
