Tears fall
"And it's draining all of me and it's getting hard to believe.I'll be holding these scars for everyone to see." Leona Lewis
**************************************
Tears fall frequently now
Hot,streaming endlessly
In the still silence of the darkness
In the hollow light of the day
Happiness close enough to touch
And yet,
Too far away
Breaths in short gasps
Heart clogged with pain
A body's final plea to keep the sorrow at bay
Tears fall from the eyes
The Windows to the soul
that
none will to see
Screaming of emotion, screams of life
Screams unknown, screams of delight
A helpless soul, screeching for relief
No human to see
these eyes that weep
But...
Through these waters, a light shines through
If you'd just listen to the beat of your heart
The light will guide you
If you'd just listen to your heart
If you only knew
Always
there he is ,
to turn darkness into light
If only you'd ask with your hands to the skies
If only you'd pray to the one who gave you life
At times, it's hard for tears to dry and life to live
But they move on after a bit
I wish I'd gain the faith to turn to him
When the black shrouds my eyes and the tears refuse to dry
And I feel my heart is howling and is yelling a cry
But until then...
Tears will fall frequently
Hot, streaming endlessly
In the still silence of the darkness
In the hollow light of day
Happiness close enough to touch
In moments far between and few
Grazing my fingertips in
Short. Tiny. Glimpses
In this minuscule period of what we call our life
