Each day he wrote,

A letter or two to the one he loved

So she knew how much he loved her and how much he cared

A letter per day for an entire year

he would fear

that one day she would love another

But if that other really cared he would write her a letter

He held her in his arms and told her

I write you a letter each and every day

to show you that I love you in every way

No follow my instructions carefully as I say
