The black birds on that tree
I never noticed
How the sky turns colors at twilight
I never noticed
That the sun comes up every day no matter what
I never noticed
That the stars shine brighter on some nights
I never noticed
The color of your eyes
I never noticed
How much you hate it when I say goodbye
I never noticed
You are always around me
I never noticed
That you are my best friend
I never noticed
That you said 'I love you' and meant it
I never noticed
But now I do
