Silver
Usually I am Midnight Blue--
Soft whispers in the midnight blackness.
Always scared and untamed, afraid of the world.
I am unseen:
Hidden in the shadows, never seen at a first glance.
A creature of the night is what I am, forgotten and ignored.
But when people see me, I am shining Silver--
Smiles and laughter fill the air as people stop and take notice.
Secrets are shared and memories are made.
I am shining Silver:
Passerby finally look up from their phones when they catch glimpses of me.
Distracted by something other than their music or games.
I am darkness and light, but neither are my true color.
I am just...unique,
In every way.
