Impossible Grade

I had an A!
This semester:
I did all the homework;
I may have skipped a few assignments,
received an A on every test;
I got a B plus one time,
attended every class;
that one sick day doesn’t count,
And I completed the exam review;
Yup, all 10 pages.
The final exam was a breeze,
But when I opened skyward
I had an F in chemistry.
Failed!?
What happened to my As?
They were gone!
My eyes watered and my jaw dropped
As I saw the blurry zeros and 50s that filled skyward
What happened?
I had an A!
