The Orchestra and Gate
Approaching the grandness,
the strings sound a softly spoken note.
It then is joined by others,
like a lonely human being enveloped in sheets
of love and friendship from others.
The sound,
As great and grand
as the Victory Gate that stands overhead,
watching over all who pass through it.
The orchestra,
Playing with passion,
Sends an emotional rush to all.
The oboe,
Sounding sentimental feelings of
Love, Achievement, and Life.
The brass, bringing the grandness of life,
like the gate standing,
Who brings the grandness to mankind.
The sound,
So passionate and sentimental,
Like the grandness and feelings
Within the gate.
It brings tears to the eye,
Like a pipe bringing water to a faucet.
The music,
So grand,
Loud, passionate,
Ends,
With the soft spoken note,
as you pass through.

My love of music and listening to classical music specifically inspierd me to write this poem. I hope that people will getthe feeling that I got from this piece of music by Elgar.
