Better
I met her this year,
We became close.
But seeing her everyday,
Is what I’ll miss the most.
She understood me,
Like no one else.
She filled my mind,
With all the troubles she tells.
As school came to an end,
I took the devastating news.
It was something I didn’t want,
Yet something I had to choose.
She moved away,
Started a new life.
I was a lonely girl,
And like a banana, I would never become ripe.
It’s all better now,
Talking to her every night.
I’m more happy,
And my heart is light.
