Verisimilar
A wing'd truth
Pauses a moment
Onto the raft
In-between
Hope and despair,
And though it seems
To bring with it light,
Have you yet looked
Upon the darker shadow
That traces its wing?
What is it then?
A fake truth,
A moment turned
To utter desperation
Or
The continuation
Of a battle
Long fought
But never quite won.
How do you explain Truth?
Solely perception
Or an explanation
Of the objective?
A Form,
All knowing
But never
Obtainable?
Is it what floats
To the surface
Or rather
The thing that lies
At the bottom
Waiting?
