The Way He Walked
He walked fast and steady
Head down, fists always ready
He was angry at the world, a hatred so deep
It ran through him and began to seep
Through his mind, through his body, this hatred never died
Everyone thought it might subside
Nothing seemed to bring him happiness or light
Waking up everyday was a fight
He walked steady and fast
He's gone now, this is just the past.
