Where, what, how?
My heart reaches out to touch you
But you retreat at the attempt
Im left standing alone in darkness
There's no place left to run
The home I'd found, now scorched to ash
A somber song plays over within me
A reminder of the last times
I was left to find my way
The guiding hand I'd held to
Slipped silently from my grasp
The wrong I'd done unknowingly
Now taking its harsh toll
Tell me when I'm doing wrong
For I only wish to please you
To be good enough to be your girl
Worthy to be held in your heart
I feel without you, a piece of me gone
What kept my heart beating
What kept my lungs breathing
You made me laugh, smile, cry
When you were by my side
But now I've disappointed you
And lost the love of whom I need
