Addictive Love
I am the thin white paper
you put between your lips.
Asking for a spark to bring us closer,
we share the same breath.
Filling your lungs with a dark lust and
temporary comfort through your body.
Seeping through the cracks
of your lips,
the taste of second hand smoke
is all that remains;
as my white cloud dissolves into the sky.
I am the liquid
shot through your veins.
Taking you on a trip to the galaxy in my mind.
Wanting me to give you the whole universe
as if the galaxy wasn't enough.
Back down on Earth
my stars left in your pocket,
while you are sane.
I am the shot of a vodka bottle.
Vodka that quickly goes down your throat.
Traveling to your mind
to hear the sounds of your slurred words
of your sober thoughts.
Left with an empty skinny bottle in your hands,
you shatter my fine figure into pieces on the ground,
and cut into your skin.
