Something different...
Roses are red,
black,
sometimes they are yellow or blue
just like the blood and bruises that have been drawn by you
sometimes laughter is unstoppable
sometimes tempers flare
when you know just what to do with that icy cold stare
starting a fire with just fingertips and lips
more beauty than the world could hold locked inside a kiss
battle scars open for too long begin to heal
and you begin to wonder if this could ever be real
when moonless nights has nothing on what you've seen
that time you had to wonder if you could still even dream
when that weight on your chest
that for so long was the world
becomes the head of the one that
loves being called your girl
running fingers through her hair
that euphoric smile on her face
the realization that this is the one
thing you cannot replace
when the word passion can no
longer begin to describe intimacy
and it has the power to drown out
all the ugliness the restsee
let this be known the person that crushed you could never fix you
you were broken so carelessly
only trust it to someone true
