Abyssus
You wake up, eyes are burning
And finally, you see
You are born into a world
Where hate is what you'll be.
You lean over to smell the smoke,
Your lungs take in the pain.
Yet you still tilt even further
To bend down and taste the flame.
You take in the intoxication
And it makes you feel completely free.
You breathe in, eyes are burning,
And finally, you see
There is no flower on the vine.
It has thorns, but not a rose.
The stems reach out and grab you
Because it's the only pain that grows.
The studded lasso pulls you in '
There's no one to save you from the abyss.
The flame offers you a deal
And seals it with a kiss.
You're melting, you're melting in the fire.
Your soul is bubbling up on your skin.
The only pain worse than this burn
Is the rage you hold within.
The spark is apparent in your iris.
'Oh Seyton, why me? Why me!?!'
You scream out, eyes are burning,
Then eyes are ashes, you cannot see.
