Dark Embrace

You push me away
And I always come back.
You hit me harder,
But my wounds will mend.
You rip out my throat,
I can speak without words.
You gauge out my eyes,
I can see without sight.
You clean up the blood
And you apologize.
You bandage my scars '
I forgive you.
You hold me in
To a dark embrace
And all is well again,
Until...
...You push me away...
