Sleep
It's 4am and I can't sleep
It's not working, counting sheep
I beg to drift off into the deep
Where the secrets of my heart, my soul will keep
Into the great beyond I wish to leap
And the joys of its mystery, my brain will reap
When there's nothing left, back down I'll leap
All these secrets, my soul will keep
Expanding my world, going high, going deep
I think it's time to count some sheep
Maybe now I'll finally sleep

I really enjoyed writing this one. I thought it was kind of creative the way I mirrored the endings of each line from the first half to the second half of the piece. Maybe it was creative, maybe it wasn't. I'm really not sure, but anyways I really enjoyed this piece and I hope you do too!
