Sunset
Beneath a fiery sunset
Vividly red leaves descend
Resting on a picnic blanket
A white and ruby blend
On the blanket hands lie close
Almost touching, nearly brushing
Crimson colored nails slide closer
Eyes averted, faces flushing
Hands now clasped to one another
Two hearts beat as if just one
Time is frozen for this couple
Underneath the setting sun
Faces moving closer still
Neither saying much
Underneath that flaming sunset
Soft red lips touch
