O tablet! My Tablet!
The charger near, the sobs i hear, the people all crying
While the eyes water the steady flow, the screen dark black
But O heart! Heart! Heart!
O the dark screen of death,
Where on the floor my tablet lies,
Fallen broken and dead.
O Tablet! My Tablet! Rise up and play that netflix;
Rise up- for all the hours spent playing netflix and youtube
For you i got in trouble and talked my way out of it for you the tears are shed
For you they yell at me, the notification bell rings, their faces glare
Here tablet! Dear entertainment!
The case beneath your back!
It is unreal that on the floor,
You’ve fallen black and dead.
My tablet does not make a sound, the screen dark black,
My friends will not hear from me, there head filled with worry,
The case lay safe and sound, it’s job is done,
From youtube playing every night, to hiding you under the covers,
Silence fills the air, Oh please this can not be real!
But I mournfully dread,
Going to bed without my tablet.
For it lies cold and dead!
