FAKE
What will become of all the young girls of the world?
They all so influenced by what they see,
In our society,
From the time they get their first Barbie doll,
To the time they get their first fashion magazine,
They all want to be like what they see on the billboards,
Skinny girls modeling skinny jeans,
All the young women cry under all the makeup the hide their flaws behind,
We show them less is more,
The less clothes you wear,
The more “love” you will receive,
We tell them that “fat” is unacceptable,
What will become of these molded girls?
Some might die,
Because perfection will never be in reach,
Some might become what they once thought was perfection,
But won’t be satisfied,
But maybe,
Just maybe,
Some girl somewhere,
Will speak out,
Scream out,
“HEY! Why can’t we just be happy with yourself, did you know if you took away the pills, injections, makeup, implants, surgeries, and push up bras, those girls would be just like you and me, why would you want to be fake?”
