Forever Entwined in Friendship
Has it been 3 years since it started?
I thought it would take forever.
The thought makes me nervous and excited.
I’m still as innocent and immature as ever.
We plan our dresses, hair and more,
But we hide the thought that makes us ache.
We all feel this for sure,
But hide it for our sake.
We were split at the start,
but became good friends,
Now it is time for us to part,
It’s sad that it's coming to an end.
Our group of friends does everything together,
we must go our separate ways.
Although we will be friends forever,
Will this pain last everyday?
We may not be in the same school next year,
But we will always be friends for life.
We will keep each other near,
In our hearts we hope they shall thrive.
We'll continue making memories full of laughter,
And enjoy these short times,
As we write the next chapter,
Through all of life's chimes.

Graduation is the time when you feel happy and sad, nervous and excited at the same time. My friends and I may not be in the same school next year but I trust our friendship enough to believe that we will continue to be friends forever.
