Snowdrops forever envy honeyed springtime melodies,

Evermore ebbing like forsaken soulless bodies.

The diary of anxious scribbles, now lost as well forgotten

Gets firmly fliped over a pile of beans too rotten,

As I hoard thoughtless dictions inside a fragile sternum;

My dead fish keeps decaying in that ageless aquarium.

Drowsy delirious pole star quite inaccurately beams,

On a debris of damsels delicately premature dreams.

While tirelessly talents drown in self doubt's aisle;

Unaffectedly slim creepers ramble on a baked tile.

Kindness is bound to die in a world bonding intimate lies,

Affirming why soldiers be martyrs under napalm skies.

Children sailed ambitions on self-crafted paperboats,

Rewarding me a recollection of childish anecdotes.

Reluctantly I strolled back home as tipsy thunder lurked,

To sigh over rejected canvases when paints smirked.

A bountiful mimosa branch triggered my cockatoo's dings;

Flapping seemingly miserable makintosh wings.

Drenched blood roses bereft it's thorns of ivory dust

To delude the inebriated petals with porcelain lust.

In a patriarchal drey a dodgy squirrel family dines,

As mindless I, accuse the vindictive wistaria vines;

For the constant drizzle censoring every city light

Sequentially I slided under my duvet to warm up the night.
