Growing up
Growing up
Oh mommy why do I have hair above my lips,
My hips feel a little heavy
Tell me why is it so fleshy
Is it my bones, or my stomach?
Oh, I am not trying to create a havoc
Mom you promised me, that you would help me with all my problems
This can be malaria, dengue or even tuberculosis
It’s not my fault that I think I have such brief synopsis
Of some random diseases
You only taught me
And now you tell me to be quiet.
Is it me thinking too much or just stressing?
But ‘Oh C’mon’ I have a blessing,
No one is so serious in my family
I’d rather be gloomy then taking it as a joke
It’s not natural, that there is hair on my chest
And my mom thinks that this is an amusing jest.
