The Ballad of Thick and Thin
In a world so vast and wide,
There’s something that fills me up inside.
It’s the bond we share, so string and true,
Friendship, my dear, I’m grateful for you.
Through thick and thin, we stand together,
Through stormy weather, we’ll brave the weather.
You lift me up when I’m feeling low,
With you by my side, I’ll always glow.
The laughter we share, the tears we shed,
With you, my friend, I’m never misled.
You understand me like no one else,
In your presence, I find myself.
From silly jokes to heartfelt talks,
We’ve built a friendship that truly rocks.
You’ve been there for me, day and night,
In this crazy world, you shine so bright.
So here’s to friendship, forever and more,
A treasure I’m grateful for, that’s for sure.
With you by my side, I’ll be fine,
Thankful for friendship that’s truly divine

This piece meant something when I was writing it because when my teacher told us to write something about friendship and love I knew that this was going to be my strong suit and I really enjoyed making this piece.
