Life takes, I take
Tears where cry
Blood was shed
Voice spoke lies
False paths were led
At on point we were all told to live our lives to the fullest
No spaces for mistakes
To make the world your own
Do whatever it takes
Don’t sympathize
Don’t let their cries get into your head
Take each life if you have to
Fill their hearts with excruciating dread
Leave your brand boldly stamped
No mistaking who was there
No matter how much pain it causes
Or how that pain is hard to bare
“This world is all about getting to the top,” they told me
No matter whose head is under your feet
Never giving up
Or accepting that eventually there would be defeat
