Drawn In
Your eyes.
Your smile.
Your words.
They all draw me in,
like a bird with a worm.
You entice me,
and tempt me into your world.
You finally get me to give in,
and trust again.
But now I have no capacity for trust.
God, how could I be so stupid?
You swept me off my feet,
and dumped me on the other side of a wall.
And I scream at the wall,
but it doesn't move and I'm left wondering.
How could you do this to me?
