To You, Not For You
identity means a lot to me
we can be the person we want to be
do not follow the latest trends
or copy the actions of your friends
find your own and unique style
refuse to frown when you want to smile
when you want to laugh then go for it
if you get the urge don't ignore it
do not forget but always be sorry
the person beside you has their own story
in order to show them that you care
listen to things they choose to share
find an idol and admire
seek your passion to inspire
i teach lessons through this ink
the more you read the more you'll think
a new perspective, a brighter light
just believe things will go right
give every single task your all
rise again after you fall
so that the pain cannot worsen
you must be a stronger person
so many aspects you have to flaunt
yet do not tease and do not taunt
you'll find a man to call your own
to depend on, as sturdy as stone
no one else can possibly compare
just close your eyes and he'll be there
in your bond you won't have to try
feelings so strong a grown man will cry
he can see no one but the person you are
if anyone else, you wouldn't be this far
just stop worrying, you deserve to be free
let it be let it be let it be LET IT BE
