love is a knowledge that comes from the soul
all feelings exposed, a loss of control.
you can try to escape, find somewhere to hide
draw a line between worlds to mark their divide.
this land is unclaimed and earth is unturned
is the a chance to retreat after the passion has burned?
how do you banish all thoughts of desire
reverse the time, turn ashes to fire.
time after time i keep trying to find
some closure, an answer to settle my mind.
after all thoughts are exposed and feelings confessed
i wonder why my mind’s not yet at rest.
