The Term is Belief
i wonder what depths you’ll travel i’m curious what lengths you’ll go
i see so much determination you experience, constantly grow
i know that you once cared, seeing that is clear.
it’s always hard to focus i just wish you were here.
i would defend for you pretend for you
extend so there’s no end for you.
i made it through time and time before
but it’s nearly impossible to not think about you anymore.
freeing my burden filled mind would create such relief
all we can give it is time, the key term is belief.
us be together? nothing short of a miracle
your voice is a melody nothing short of lyrical.
do not message me just disregard.
not a letter, an email, even a birthday card.
is this the kind of thing that you normally do?
throw away the best of friendships, good luck finding something more true
our months together had zero meaning
by the way you’re acting that’s how it’s seeming.
when caressed by the silk of the moon light
i hope you know what to do to make it right.
you’re so far away in both distance and time.
i would fight for you. how high would you climb?
question unanswered i keep my composure
but i can’t keep on waiting i need that closure.
i hold no grudges, i always forgive.
just get out of my mind. i’m trying to live
