Terribly Just Friends
he looks up toward the sky
desperatly asking God why
why he didnt see it before
it was always her he wanted more
its too late for she is gone
she waited but couldnt hold on
how he misses her with a madness
but he always felt her sadness
he wasnt there to catch her tears
wasnt there to fight her fears
he wasnt there to hold her tight
wasnt there to keep the shadows away at night
oh how he regrets this
thinking of their last kiss
and the last tender embrace
the smile upon her face
it never reached her eyes
she must have seen his lies
but still she believed
but ended up crying for his greed
she finally said good bye
and still he tried
he wanted to be just friends
she couldnt take the pain, she couldnt do this again
so she said this is good bye, the end
