Hiding in Hollywood
I’m hiding in Hollywood
Without a care
People walk past me
With cold rotten stares
You’re hiding inside yourself
The only harm to you
Now you’re just vulnerable
What did you do
I’m hiding in Hollywood
Strumming my guitar
Laughing and dancing
I was told, ‘find who you are’
You’re hiding in Hollywood
Scared and alone
Crying and bleeding inside
You got no one to hold
I’m out there in Hollywood
Displaying my skill
Living my dream
Savoring the thrill
You’re still hiding in Hollywood
You won’t get really far
No money no home
Not even a car
Not one that will show you
Who you can be
All you gotta do
Is say, ‘I believe’
