every week
Each week is a repeat.
Every night is the same, go to my room and stay.
These weeks just equal defeat,
As for the nights all I do is lay.
Each week is a repeat.
The same thing happens in school,
As every night tears fall to my feet.
I just go and act like a mindless fool.
Each week is repeated.
Every day I feel tired.
As my emotions are depleted,
Because I know everyone is getting fired.
Each week is a repeat,
As Ii just sit.
While my emotions make me fleet,
And I just never throw a fit.
Each week is a repeat,
As I stay awake at night.
This might be because I’m not an athlete,
Or maybe I just don’t know what’s right.
Every week is a repeat,
I ask God, “why why me?”
Although I still feel incomplete,
God responds in my dreams, “Just rest ,child, and don’t flee.”
