Her Big Day
A courtship was to be finalized in an all-white ceremony.
A man to take his Lover's hand in holy matrimony.
No was to know what the woman knew.
But all soon found out quick, when she wouldn't say "I do".
The groomsmen all shouted and screamed in anger and rage,
And the bridesmaids were compared to an animals in a cage.
The crowd buzzed like the honey bee's wings
With all the attendants turning and whispering.
The woman ran through the aisle, never turning back.
Into the arms of a poor man living in a shack.
