Night
The night that I have lived before
Fresh out of shower waterfall
Window cracked I feel it all!
the fresh breeze rolling past the screen
from the cars rushed down below
The night that I have lived before
dusk it is, just barely light
then it comes, out of my sight
I hear the tires, the screeching brakes
Then the crash, the cringing crunch
The shattered glass the helpless scream
The night that I have lived before
The cars that continue on their way,
Over the glass sprayed every way
The cops are here within a second,
“It wasn’t my fault!” He arrives to hear
The night that I have lived before
Curses, pitches high and low,
He was going 80 though!
Neighbors rush right to the sight
Hand in hand hold flashlights tight
Then comes the sirens, red and blue
The night that I have lived before
I hear the busied voices scattered
But cannot see for any matters
All I have are glares and sounds
But I know what’s next,
To come around
