Captured by my Thoughts
Blue quilts glisten and make my feet wet
Cotton ball clouds touch the sunset
A red, a pink, a vibrant allure
But somewhere underneath, the sand is disturbed
A hole, a slot, a crevasse to fill
And as I fall, the time stands still
I'm captured by memories, like an action shot
Not a thousand words, but a thousand thoughts
The ocean sheds a thousand tears
The grains of sand, for my thousand fears
The seagulls cry out for every scream
And crumpled paper clouds form a hazy screen
My reality is wherever I am not
For I'm mesmerized in my thoughts
