When You Play Your Music
A perfectly tuned
Violin swoons
Music fills the air
Your fingers precise
And bowing's concise
I know even though
I'm not there
When you play your music
It brings such a movement
It sways my emotions, my thoughts
And all of my problems
Your melody solves them
All of my plights are sought
But as the music depresses
My thought compresses-
Can I stop from shedding a tear?
For the song in my heart
Proves us so far apart
Because you are there,
Not here.
