Hell is going through Life without knowing Love

She never asked me to buy her much,
But took what little pennies I had,
And made wishes out of their indecision
Of heads or tails, as they flutter reflections
Down into the dark center where dreams
Turn into water that we pull up by the buckets,
Only to find that she is sitting where
The water ought to be; she is a necessity
To life at its very definition of quenching
All my tragic nightmares of landing on
Tails, but she always turns up heads,
In the eloquence of flipping copper
Turning colors into green; she is the
Lady with the torch that lights this
New land of hope and options to
Spend what little money I have
On the girl that never asked for it,
But only asks what I wish for
So she can make it all come true,
By which point my imagination falls
Short of creating such value that she
Has supplied my wallet and pockets with,
And I no longer need time for sleeping,
For I spend my time making pennies
With crafting hands that couldn’t fall
Asleep for they throbbed for her skin,
So they spent the wishing-stars they caught
To make pennies collected in buckets
Until I have enough to buy diamonds
Made of dreams and sleepless nights.
I told her she could have all the pennies
That I had collected through the ages,
But she never asked for them, never wanted.
