My Poison
When I think of beauty
I think of her eyes
the icy blue pools
penetrate all her lies
Her short blonde hair
shines in the sun
like her gleaming giggle
and the rays as they run
The old cowboy boots
scuff the floor
as her laugh overwhelms
when I walk through the door
She's bad for me
my poison, in a way
but I fall more in love
and harder every day.
