"Lost Cause"
The weather so hot you’ll melt.
The weather so cold you’ll wear a pelt.
Thanks giving, thankful.
The weather trembles surely felt.
No need for sorrow
No need to take and no need to borrow.
My time well spent.
No need to wake up tomorrow.
Not a single cent, not a single hour.
My days turn sour.
As the days go by I lose my power.
I know there’ll never be another
Your days are numbered and so are mine.
Still in the war, but I’m losing for sure.
