November
November light whispers of forgiveness in my ear
She speaks to me about my life and what it looks like to me
A reflection of the beauty that it once shone
And the rain clouds that now sleep over me
November light is hiding in my shadow from dusk until dawn
Praising me for the right and showing me what I’ve done wrong
Topaz in my hands when I grab on too tightly I hear her name again
More than just my mother in life she was my closest friend
November light is watching over me, the maiden of my destiny
Showing me what faith is all about and revealing the best of me
Chrysanthemum rests on waters that I look down upon and see
A blue light in the shape of her face smiling back at me
November is the month in which we both we given life
Past and present taunt the future and what we believe is right
Every cold Winters day I hear her echo from the oceans at the beach
So full of love and a son of wisdom she has made with so much left to teach
November is my closest friend and my firm belief
November is her spirit to never slumber, guiding me
November is my most beautiful memory and my fragile pain
That nothing lasts forever, even cold November Rain
