I want to lay down for a century
and sleep like you
under a cover of dust, dirt, blood and rubble
I'll be with you
nothing passes through our minds
it feels like all of time
when I sink to my knees
too breathless to sound my screams
so I lay down next to your body
I lay down in your warmth
tear down the wall keeping us apart
and hear the beating of just my one heart
