My Life
I walked in and saw them
Chickens! Chickens! All around!
They stampeded toward me
Chickens! Chickens! They shook the ground
Can chickens inspire fear?
You've never seen such a waddle
You may think they're slow and dumb
I've seen they choose to dawdle
Chickens! Chickens! They're closing in!
Clutching their food, I turn around
I trip and fall
I'm on the ground
I'm drowning in a sea of feathers
I struggle under clawing feet
And then they're past me, I can breathe
All they wanted was food to eat
