My Mother and I
The relationship of daughter and mother
Is complicated like no other
Conflicts, conflicts, left and right
The tension is forever tight
Seeing eye to eye is rare
For dispute is always there
But underlying in the flame
At least we can communicate
Yes, it may be sometimes worse
But thankfully we both have thirst
To end the conflict, compromise
To satisfy both ends of line
And though it seems to never tire
Always it there break from fire
And now I’ll take one, for I’m through
With not showing how I love you
