For My Skeleton
Skeleton hold me close.
You're the only thing I've ever known.
If you see me walking down the street
with some boy who's all made out of meat,
you've my permission to by any means
punch him out and sweep me off my feet.
Skeleton hold me up.
Without you, I would crumble.
You catch me when I fall.
Mind, body, soul, and all.
But you keep my heart for yourself,
and tuck it away on some bookshelf.
