The Rain In My Head
Waiting too long for what I have to say
I thought this would be the one that would last
The rain in my head will wash us away.
I’m not enough to make you want to stay
You have a type that does not include me
Waiting too long for what I have to say.
My heart will be the one that has to pay
Why didn’t I listen and just say no?
The rain in my head will wash us away.
I just can’t win this so have it your way
Crack me and break me and throw me aside
Waiting too long for what I have to say.
Stuck in this night when what I need is day
I just cannot seem to get through these clouds
The rain in my head will wash us away.
Though I remember I’m only halfway
All that is left are the things I regret
Waiting too long for what I have to say
The rain in my head will wash us away..
